KENTWOOD FLOOR HELPS ACHIEVE LEED PLATINUM RATING
A single family residence in British Columbia, Canada has achieved a LEED Platinum rating with the help of Kentwood flooring. The Shore House, located in North Vancouver, was built by Surfside Development in collaboration with designer Mark Kerschbaumer and builder Naikoon Contracting. The distinctive design offers nearly 3000 square feet of energy efficient living space and makes use of many state of the art technologies – including super-insulated walls, Low-E argon filled windows and CFL lighting - and some not so new ones, like rainwater harvesting for garden and lawn irrigation.
